Carv is the Mineral King’s front man. A self trained scientist, he often performs experimental surgeries on Tony and Art, giving them bionic capabilities, which explains why the MKs do indeed rock hard.
As a young lad growing up in Rochester, NY, Carv (aka Carvelli) listened to hard rock classic bands like Nazareth, the Who and Led Zep. He wanted desperately to play in a band, but his total lack of discipline or attention span made playing an instrument unlikely.
A gifted child, Carvelli Strombolli’s teachers would often comment that he would either go on to greatness and become a household name(in a small part of Rochester)or become yet another underachiever. Eventually, he moved to NYC, and sang and jammed with notorious underground bands such as "Damn Bitch!", "Who Ate My Sandwich?" and " A Conspiracy of Conspiracies".
After hooking up with Art on the west coast, a kindred spirit type of relationship developed that has been the anchor of the MKs ever since. Over the years, Carv has developed a rich, deep and powerful voice as well as a knack for creating haunting and memorable melodies.
Today, Carvelli lives in the Bay Area with runway model wife and family. He and Tony have a recording project
called Trez Rek 500. When not with the band, Mr. Strombolli spends his free time
as president of the local chamber of commerce, and praying for a Bill's Super Bowl win.
