Like Art and Carv, Tony is originally from the east coast. His hillbilly Virginia background comes through in his Allman Brothers like guitar playing and in the fact he likes to play the drums while not wearing shoes.
Tony co-wrote the Metropolis songs with Art and Carv in addition to playing drums and half the guitar parts on the album. He plays all the guitar on Diamond Head and other lost classics. In 1995 he released a critically acclaimed solo album titled “Introducing…”. He played all the instruments and named the one person band, Ṃṛsini. Tony released this album while living in Seattle, but eventually moved back to San Francisco where he met Art and Carv and joined the Mineral Kings. He currently is the owner of Hillside Studios in Oakland, and records with Carvelli under the band name Trez Rek 500. | ![]() ![]() |
